How does it work?

Questions and answers

When can a customer use PayU instalments?

Payment by means of PayU instalments is possible when:

  • the cost of the goods stays within the range PLN 300 to PLN 20,000 (together with shipping costs),
  • the buyer selected payment on delivery.
Who grants the loan for the purchases?

The entity granting the instalment loan for the purchase is one of the loan partners - Alior Bank, mBank, Kreditech. PayU is only the entity intermediating between the borrower and the financial institutes. The seller is not a party to the loan agreement.

What will happen if the buyer doesn’t get the loan?

Nothing; the items are purchased only after successful verification of the authorisation transfer, positive decision of the creditor, and acceptance of the loan by the seller.

What does the return procedure look like in case of an instalment purchase?

Within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order, the buyer submits a representation on resignation from the purchase and returns the goods. Withdrawal from the sale agreement does not result in withdrawal from the credit agreement. Therefore, the seller is obliged to inform the bank on resignation from the purchase and return the received amount in order for it to be credited towards the instalments.

Does PayU charge commission for instalment sale?

We do not charge any additional fee from you for transactions with the use of PayU instalments, the amount for the sold goods is sent to the account of your shop.
